Syncing failure

Hi, I am not very technical and this problem is driving me mad.I have owned a curve 9360 for a year and have synced every day without problem via USB cable. Last week my pc starts to tell me that the device is disconnected and so cannot sync. There is no problem with the cable (have tried a new one and no change). I am not aware that I have updated software but an automatic sotware update may have happened. I am apparently on 7.0 Bundle 1825 at present.

 

Any ideas please? My business depends on me knowing that my calendars are exactly in sync.
