Syncing with Outlook

When I sync with Outlook, it copies Contacts between the device and Outlook.

But it only copies Calendar items from Outlook to the phone but not from the deviec to Outlook,

I have ensured that i have got "2 way sync" set up - I have even reverted to the standard settings but it still only copies calendar items one way.

Any advice?
