I have done all types of downloads for the Desktop Software and still when I try to open the application I receive the not responding at the top bar.I am running win 7. I could connect with the earlier version of the software. I have removed all traces of RIM/Blackberry by control panel and Regedit so there is nothing on the PC pertainting to Blackberry. Yes all anti-virus and similar programmes were disabled. Ran as administrator.
