Since the summer software upsate, I can not connect my BB curve 8520 to the desktop software to use the backup and restore functions. I have done this successfully for years, so I do know how to do it, and I've tried 4 different working cables to connect, so it's not that. Mass storage is on, the device is set to connect with the desktop software as soon as it is plugged in. Has anyone else had a similar problem? I repeat, this is a new problem, I ve had it for only 3 months or so. I have my original desktop software CD, but I'm afraid if I try to reinstall it I will wipe out 7 years of data already stored on the software. Thank you, if anyone can help.
