I am trying to set up a Blackberry Torch with a laptop running Vista and am running into problems. When I try to install the desktop software I get "error 1316 a network error occured while attempting to read from the file c:\windows\installed\blackberry desktop software.msi".
I've tried three times with the same error. I've tried using the software with the error (it seems to have installed something) and it doesn't recognise the phone is attached, so obviously there's something missing. can anyone help?
