O/S: Windows 7
Blackberry desktop software has installed, but never ran.
The Blackberry logo splash appears, after which an error message from Windows stating 'the program has stopped working'.
I've never used the software because it never loads.
I've scoured this forum, the net and youtube for weeks and can not find a solution.
I want to extract contacts and notes.

I can not synchronize my calendar and contact in my BB desktop software, when I connect UPS cable. It is requiring Wireless synchronization, but when I want to turn of Wireless Syn with the guidance, I can not find may SYNCHRONIZATION in my contact ‘Option’?
Other, why GPS function is not aviliable for China user?
I received this message when I tried to sync my BB.
Sync was unsuccessful error – “CPreferencesManager:Configuration Value for /Preferences/Account_3_196610/DevicePin not set in TransConfig.xml for Translator RimBB”.
I followed the instructions for Cause 2 in the BB knowledge base with no success.

I see posts that Blackberry does not support syncing Outlook 2013 dating from 18 months back. I just upgraded to Office 2013 (installed version) and I must be able to sync my contacts and calendar to my smart phone.
I need a defintive Yes or No about whether BB willl support Outlook and if Yes then a need firm date when that will happen. Failing this, I will have to move away from Blackberry.
I am shocked at this attitude from Blackberry. After all they have been through they still have not learned that they MUST give customers what they want. I thught the new boss was better than the old boss but now I am not sure.
Good day everyone out the there. I have a question for you all. I downloaded the Blackberry desktop software and I backup my contacts. Now the extension on the end of the file is BBB. I would like to know where I would find the application that might be free or not to open this to make sure I have backed it up properly before I send back my Blackberry Curve under warranty. I have recently begun receiving an error message when syncing with my computer. Address and contacts are fine. When it gets to the calendar I receive a message that reads "an error has occurred during an attempt to access a device database record". Then I have no calendar entried on my blackberry.
Any suggestions? My calendar is outlook on my computer and it worked before.

problem with sync of gmail google and blackberry Bold 9930 with 7.1 bundle software.
Device has best file current setup not syncing device, computer and account.
It doesn’t seem that BB OS7 backup software saves windows files: CAD, doc., excel, pdf, etc. on a memory card.
I recently corrupted data on my 32g sd memory card (it got wet). I had backed up the 9900, 5 days earlier. After restoring nothing was on the card.
Is there a function of the software that will backup a memory card?
As I had been using it as a mass storage/ usb device saving tax and other vitals, i would really appreciate retrieving/restoring the info.
Knowledgeable help would be appreciated.

I synchronised my Blackberry Bold 9900 then tried to access my address book from the software file but it said it was unable to open the file Adobe as it is either not a supported file type or has been damaged. I repeated the sync it then told me to turn off the wireless on the phone I did this and then tried sync again and it wiped all the addresses from my phone. I tried to restore them from Desktop software but there are 1200 addresses in light grey and it says they cannot be restored. Please help Im desperate for my contacts
Hi, I am unable to copy the files into my BB phone. The 'Paste' option in BB Desktop Software is not enabled. It doesn't allow me to drag a file over to the file manager area as well. I am not sure what is the problem. I am able to copy the files from the phone to my computer. But I am unable to copy files from my computer to phone. I do not want to use the BB device as a USB storage device as it does not encrypt the files. I am using a Windows 8 OS and using the latest BB desktop software. Is there any issue with BB desktop software on Windows 8 OS?
Note that the 'Paste' option is not enabled for both Media card and Device storage.
how is the desktop software configured to accept sms text messages from handset for systematic sorting, storage and archiving?
When synchronizing the calendar, contacts and tasks between Outlook and my Curve 9320 I get the error message Caught_com_error exception. Description(): (null): Error(): -2147319779 (0x8002801D): ErrorMessage(): Library not registered.: Source(): (null).
I am using the BB Desktop Software version 7.1 Bundle 2814 and Outlook 2010.
Who can help to resolve this problem?
I have my Blackberry Torch 9810 backed up on my PC. I have since deleted some of my photos but need to access some of those photos on my backup now that are no longer on my phone. Can I access my backup that is on my PC and open up my photo album?

I have a Blackberry Bold which I backup and synic on my work computer. One of my partners has the same phone and wants me to backup her phone on the same computer here at the office. When I plug her phone in my desktop software opens with my phone information. How can I set my desktop software to accept her phone. I sure don't want to synic our phones together by accident.

Anyone got any help they can offer with reconciling my blackberry with Outlook 2013. Upgraded Outlook from 2003 and now it wont reconcile??? Any help greatly appreciated as it is becoming increasingly annoying, so much so, I am thinking of getting rid of my Blackberry!!!
