Synchronization problem
Cannot Synch Blackberry 9900 with Desktop Software Windows 8.1
I have recently purchased a new PC, running Outlook on Windows 8.1. I am unable to synch Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, etc, either when configured for two-way or one-way synchronization (from Desktop to Device). The synchronization software does run, and takes a long time (6900 Contacts records), and does not report any errors, but after it completes and I re-check my Blackberry, I find that recent contacts added on my Desktop Outlook have not been copied to my Blackberry. I tried both one-way (Desktop to Device) and two way synching - same result - no error message, long synch time, no actual synching. Same for Calendar, Tasks, etc.
I'm near the point of giving up and trading in for a new (and better) smart phone. Welcome any tips.
Desktop Manager Software for 9630 (v 5.0.0.732) for Windows 7 (64 bit)
Looking for help, please.....
Still using BlackBerry Tour 9630 (and old version 5.0.0.732).
Just purchased new computer so moving from Windows XP (32 bit) running Office 2003 to Windows 7 (64 bit) running brand new Office 2013.
Is it possible to just download Desktop Manager from CD I received with the phone and make this work?
Yes, the phone is outdated as I haven't wished to part with it! Updates not taken in quite a while at the suggestion of both Verizon and RIM due to technical problems. I never thought I would hold onto the phone this long.
A challenge, I know!
Can anyone help?
Thanks so much.
Uninstall BB Desktop Software Version 5.0.1.37
BB friends,
I have tried all suggested means to uninstall BB desktop software 5.0.1.37 from my computer. The files do not exist anymore, but the program remains in the control panel program overview.
I am intending to reinstall the version 5.0.1.37 to then uninstall it properly. Could anyone advice on where I can find that very version of the program?
Thanks and best,
lamer01

When I press Run Anyway another window called 16 Bit MS-DOS Subsystem opens with a message that "The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.....chose to terminate the application.

Blackberry Bold 9900
Outlook 2007
BBerry Desktop 7.1.0.41
I recently made some changes to email accounts etc and had no problem synching with Outlook for 4-5 weeks. Then I had an update and reboot a few days ago. Now I have problems synching my calendar (contacts seem ok), getting the following error:
Sychronization Error:
CRTranRec::GetLinkedRecordId : Invalid linked record Id
Any ideas
This BlackBerry ID isn't associated with a device running BlackBerry 10 OS
I replaced my old Z10 with a new one, and when I tried to connect to it through Link I got this message. And I can't seem to find where I can actually see the devices under my BBID.
Help please

where are synchronized items stored?
Hi,
I have a Torch 9800 and wanted to have a list of all contacts details in a csv file. When I connect the device (through cable) to the laptop and use the Organizer in BB Desktop Software, I can synchronize the contact items to the laptop, but I don't find where it has stored the contact information.
In the Curve models, we could specify the location, he we can't. I looked on the C-drive udner "research in motion" folder, but don't find anything.
FYI, there is no synchronisation with a server.
Can someone please tell me where I can find the details?
Thank you & best regards,
rembrandt

synchronization problems
I have a Curve 9320 and until very recently I have been able to synch the data (contacts, calendar and tasks) with Microsoft Outlook on my laptop.
I am now getting the message 'Synchronization Error. CRTran Rec::GetLinkedRecordId:Invalid linked record ID'
Anyone any suggestions as to how to resolve this problem - needs to be basic step by step for someone not very clued up on IT matters!
