I can't update my blackberry 8520 from my computer anymore. I used to be able to connect the blackberry to my computer, start the Blackberry Device Software and my calendar and contacts from Outlook on my computer would be updated on my blackberry. Now when i connect the blackberry and my computer and start the software, nothing happens. This started when my blackberry and my computer were accidently separated during a backup and update session. What can i do now to make this process work again.

Trying to recover pictures
My sisters computer is crapping out so they are trying to back everything up to move onto another computer. She can't seem to figure out where the pictures are located that she saved via BlackBerry Desktop Software. I have her HDD in an external case and I've looked everywhere for them. Is there a folder that has the pictures saved or a .whatever file that has them all in it? I've look at a bunch of websites, I even installed the software on my machine to see if i can view it. I'm no expert but I know enough to get by, so this is kind of driving my batty.

Blackberry desktop software installer forcing into various other applications.
I have never had a Blackberry but this program/virus is on my computer and has been making my life rather difficult. Every time a run program on my computer this pop-up comes up. "Blackberry Desktop Software 6.1.....The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.......Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Blackberry Desktop Software.msi' in the box below." This pop-up open along with everything i open on my computer. I usually just close it every time. Idk why this virus is on my computer but it needs to go. It is not an installed program on my computer. It's not even in regestry editor. But it persists in being present with everything I do.

Windows 7 shows BlackBerry Bold 9930 USB to E & F at same time
How can I fix new problem where Windows 7 computer shows BlackBerry Bold 9930 USB to E: & F: at same time?
This issue manifested after I switched the USB port that I used to back up my BlackBerry using BlackBerry Desktop Software; E: shows all (or most) of my BlackBerry's contents, while F: shows nearly empty (attempts to cut/paste from F: to E: didn't resolve anything).

sync blackberry desktop with outlook express calendar
hi all,
I have been up all night trying to figure this out and its driving me crazy,
I have a bb900 Bold and i have downloaded the latest desktop software V7.1.041,
i have connected the phone to desktop and backed up, i can see pictures and have managed to sync contact names to outlook express HOWEVER i cannot get calendar to configure,
when i click configure next to calendar it says The organiser applications on your computer arent supported, it does the same for tasks and memos,
i am using outlook express v6 and windows xp sp3

Drivers break Windows 7 Internet access
I've got a new Classic and love it, but I'm not so happy with the desktop software. I am using Windows 7 Pro (64 bit). Wen I install the drivers, either alone or in conjunction with Blend (I've tried it both ways), a VPN is installed on the system, but I lose all Internet access. I can connect to the Blackberry via USB but the Ethernet is essentially dead. I have to remove the software and reboot in order to gain Internet access. I don't really care all that much about Blend but I do want to be able to download photos, upload music, etc.
Plugging in the USB cord without the driver package, it installs a different driver anyway which allows me to see the SD card, except I don't have one installed, and it can't see the system memory. Any driver that can access the file system seems to break the computer. Any ideas? Thanks.

I can not load new Blackberry (7.1) on new computer running 8.1
My computer merely says that it will not run this application. It appears to be the full program (17416kB), when I troubleshot it in windows - it merely states it is incompatible. I have enabled Net 3.5 (includes Net 2 and 3)... yet nothing but
" this app can't run on your PC"
To find a version for your PC check with your software Publisher
I am attempting to run Blackberry 710_b042_multilanguage.exe
I have looked through Microsoft websites to no avail. It appears some of you have had more luck. I truly would appreaciate a little assistance
